Take a tour of the new store!  Using the new store is quick and easy.  You will be able to use your existing account to process orders placed through the new online store.  No additional or complicated set up is required.

Signing up as a customer is quick and easy.  You will be prompted to set up a user account that will allow for quick sign in next time you visit our store.  Please be aware that certain products will not be available for purchase by a non-qualified purchaser.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Money Order, or personal check. Money Orders and/or personal checks must be received and funds must clear before the order is shipped. Billing may be established upon completion and approval of a credit application.

 

Is it safe to use my credit card online with you?

Yes. The Online Store is a secure site and uses the latest encryption technology to keep your information safe.  

 

Do you have my credit card number on file?

You have the option of saving your credit card information in your account profile.  If you do not choose this option, we will ask for your credit card information each time you order.  If you do choose to save your credit card number to your account, you may change or remove it at any time.

 

How can I be considered for credit terms?

You may submit a credit request form to apply for terms. Complete and submit a credit application to our accounting credit manager.  HSI subscribes to two commercial credit-reporting services. In order for a customer to be assigned terms, HSI must be able to retrieve the appropriate reports from one of these two agencies.  Please allow 2-5 business days for processing.

 

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be collected in the following states:

Non-residents accepting delivery of orders in these states are also subject to applicable taxes.

* A sales tax-exempt certificate (NOT the same as income tax exemption) from the ship-to state, must be received, validated, and approved in order to avoid being subject to sales tax.  Just providing a resale number is not sufficient.

How much does shipping & handling cost?

The shipping cost is actually determined by the weight of the items you order.  Minimum shipping charge of $6.00 applies to orders. International shipments will be shipped via FedEx International to standard addresses. USPS will be used for military addresses. Shipping charges will be based on standard FedEx or USPS. Also be aware that depending on your country's regulations, International orders may be subject to additional duty fees.
However, to find out exactly how much your shipping will be before completing your order, just place the items you want in your shopping cart.  Begin check out by verifying your order.  Continue through check out by entering your Shipping and Billing information, and then proceed to the final page of check out.  The cart details will show your order total, including shipping and tax.  This calculator will also let you know how much the quicker shipping options like Priority and Overnight will cost. UPS may be used only if client uses their own UPS account.   Contact Client Services to inquire about this option.  

Orders placed before 2:00 pm EST will ship that day. Email notification of shipping with FedEx tracking link are sent at the end of the business day. 
For non-stocked items, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery 

 

Do you ship internationally?

We do ship everywhere.   For shipping rates, please see above. Also, be aware that depending on your country's regulations, International orders may be subject to additional duty fees.

 

Has my order shipped?

If it has been a full business day since you placed your order and submitted your payment, it probably has.   However, once your order has shipped, you should have received an email confirmation of the shipment.  You can also check to see if you order is marked as “Complete” on your account page.

 

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Items in stock will be shipped out promptly.  Orders placed before 2:00 pm CST will ship the day, after 2:00 pm CST, orders will ship the following business day.  Our warehouse is open Monday – Friday, closed weekends and certain holidays.

At that point, all shipments are handed off to the designated shipping service, so delivery times may vary, especially for ground service.
Items in stock that are shipped in the US should arrive within a week (and in as little as a couple of days) provided all shipping conditions are ideal.
International Shipments can vary depending on how long Customs holds onto the package for processing.
